Jaime Leon
Jaime Leon Jaime León was born in a small town in the Colombian Andes in South America an that is why he calls himself "an artist from the mountains"

Since his early years Jaime showed an artistic passion toward paintings and drawings. Jaime's family moved to Bogotá Colombia when he was a teenager. In Bogotá he studied the art of drawing at the CENA National Learning Services. Later on, he continued his studies in the "Bellas Artes" school of Bogotá.

Jaime Leon has travel in different occasions to USA, Central American and the Caribbean to exhibit his art. He devoted many years of his life helping people at drug rehabilitation centers, applying his artistic knowledge as part of the rehabilitating therapy.

Leon participated in the "Annual Forum of Colombian Artists" and won the national Christian painting contest.

"Art to me is a brief reflection of the beauty of creation. Art and beauty are intertwined, that is what I try to portrait in my work"

Jaime immigrated to Canada in 1999, since then he has participated in the following exhibitions:
