-Released during 2004 or 2005.
-Recorded fully or partly in Toronto.





BEST SOLO ARTIST. Category description:
-A solo artist is a single person front main singer.
-No bands allowed in this category.
-The solo artist can have back-up singers, musicians, dancers and DJs.
-A solo artist is an act marketed as a person’s real name or artistic name.
-Active in the Toronto Latin music scene.
-Must have at least one original song recorded in Spanish.





BEST BAND/GROUP. Category description:
-A group is made up of 2 or more musicians.
-Marketed as a group or duo.
-Must have at least one original song recorded by real musicians using real instruments.
-Based in Toronto.



BEST NIGHT CLUB. Category description:
-Latin nightclubs located in Toronto or GTA.
-Owned by Latin-American entrepreneurs in Canada.
-Minimum capacity 150 people.
-No club with only one Latin night qualify.
-No sport bars qualify.
-Has to be open and operating by the pre-nomination day.


BEST LATIN CONCERT/ COMPANY. Category description:
-This category awards a production company for the favorite Latin concert of the year.
-Must be a company dedicated to the Latin market.
-The concert must have at least 500 people in attendance.
-No festivals qualify.
-Concert marketed as a main individual artist or group , could have opening acts.
