El pasado martes 1 de junio 2004 se llevó con mucho éxito la conferencia
de prensa de la 7ma edición del Corso Italia Toronto Fiesta 2004
en el Restaurante Eden Tratoria, donde los asistentes fueron cordialmente
atendidos y pudieron saborear deliciosos platos italianos.
Sus organizadores y patrocinadores se mostraron muy positivos sobre
la realización del festival en su séptima edición. Este es un festival
familiar y habrá entretenimiento para todas las edades. Este año
cuentan con más de 20 bandas que se presentarán en vivo a lo largo
de St. Clair Ave West, entre Westmount y Lansdowne, el 9 y 10 de
julio de 7 pm 11 pm y el Domingo 11 de julio de 4 pm a 11 pm en
el escenario principal del Earlscourt.
Spanning a ten-block radius that includes St. Clair Avenue West, Westmount Avenue and Lansdowne Avenue,
Corso Italia BIA heats up the streets with Corso Italia Toronto Fiesta from July 9th - 11th.
This year's free three-day celebration gives the entire family an opportunity to taste the food and
experience this community's vibrant culture that has evolved over the years. With over 240 shops,
restaurants and services to explore, Corso Italia Toronto Fiesta recreates the atmosphere of an authentic
Italian marketplace.
During the day, visitors can take advantage of promotions and samples provided by local food and beverage
retailers who will offer a mouth-watering selection of tastes and flavours.
Music hits the streets before nightfall, as over 20 bands, scattered along St. Clair Avenue West,
perform live from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. On July 9th and 10th, performers take over every street corner,
patio and balcony playing a variety of music ranging from classical to salsa. In addition, on Saturday
July 10th and Sunday July 11th, more live music will rock Earlscourt Park Main Stage from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Corso Italia Toronto Fiesta is the perfect time to take advantage of Italian hospitality in the heart of Toronto.
The Corso Italia area is home to a variety of superb stores and services, including bakeries, bookstores,
